2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance was first held in 1950, and this year’s exhibition proved yet again why it remains one of the world’s premier automotive events. The special classes for the 2012 Concours included cars owned by India’s maharajahs, sport custom cars, German motorcycles, AC and AC Cobra cars, groupings devoted to Mercer and Fiat, and cars bodied by legendary Parisian coachbuilder Saoutchik; it was from the final group that this year’s Best of Show emerged.
