BMW confident of strong DTM comeback
BMW believes it is in good shape for its return to the DTM, following the official unveiling of its definitive M3 ahead of the 2012 season. All three manufacturers in the German series (BMW, Audi, Mercedes) had to meet a homologation deadline of March 1 for their cars, with the development of several parts now set for the season. BMW unveiled its homologated car at the Geneva Motor Show, with ex-Mercedes racer Bruno Spengler and motorsport boss Jens Marquardt taking the covers off.
