Hazard Tops Texas, Takes Points Lead

Thomas Hazard (Rochester, MN) took the lead in the Trading Paints 150 for the first and final time on Lap 38 en route to the victory in Round Five of the GSRacing.net Truck Series. Hazard, who claimed his third win of the season, out-dueled Josh Berry (Mooresville, NC) and Kevin King (San Diego, CA) for the victory in the late stages of the 100-lap online race. Most of the field fought against their fuel tanks at the end of the race after a 60 lap green flag run to the finish left many of the front runners saving gas at the end . . . including Hazard, who ran out of fuel on the cool-down lap.
